Book Authors Dawn Herbert recently published Princess, a book for young women who have endured turmoil and desperately need to be rescued from the resulting trauma. This book parallels the plot of every princess story to real life, entwining scripture to help readers find hope and healing, and an everlasting happily ever after that can only be found in Christ.

Interview
Tell us about yourself ? Where you come from , your background ?
I'm a single mother of two teenagers. I grew up in Missouri, in a family of six. We were very poor, and my struggle with self-worth began very early in life. It's taken all of 33 years for God to convince me that I am loved unconditionally, despite my past. My past includes rejection, abandonment, parental divorce, teen motherhood, and fifteen years of raising kids alone. Words cannot express the depth of pain I've experienced, but I've written these books in the hope of conveying the freedom I found from scripture.
Tell us about your new release ?
Princess is a nonfiction that takes our life story and parallels the princess plot: Abandonment, distress, captivity, rescue, happily ever after. It's full of biblical references and scriptures.
What do you love most about the writing process?
I love releasing what's in my heart onto paper. I also love the feeling of publishing a finished work.
How do You Conceive Your Plots and Characters ? Any specific pattern emerges to your mind When I ask you this ?
This book "Princess" is a nonfiction. Any patterns are a result of hours of prayer.
Where does book aim at ? And How does journey follows from Chapter 1 to End Of it ?
The book is directed toward the fragile, often broken heart inside a woman. From chapter one to the end, the journey is one of healing.
Did you learn anything from writing this book and what was it?
I learned not to rush a work. I also learned to narrow down my audience to one or two people and speak directly to their hearts. I learned to be frighteningly honest. I learned to edit carefully, and allow others into that work. Not just editors, but readers, teachers, friends, and anyone else willing to be thoughtful about it.
A good villain/ A difficult situation is hard to write. How did you get in touch with your inner villain(s)/difficult situation to write this book. Was there a real-life inspiration for him/her/it?
I wrote about several difficult situations for this book that were factual and bringing myself to discuss them wasn't something that happened on my own. My editor suggested I dig deep and get personal so readers could really relate to what I shared. It was humbling and required a lot of prayer because some things feel better buried.
What are You Passionate about in your Work Goal ?
I am passionate about people finding freedom through the messages I share.
How do you think you can Improve the Quality of Writing in contrast to your contemporary Writers ?
In regards to quality writing, I think it's important to
What are your future project(s)?
I have several books on my heart, but I don't know enough about them to divulge. I have years worth of random writing I would love to sculpt into books, but I don't know if I'll pursue more nonfiction or if I'll try fiction.
Do you have any suggestions to help me become a better writer? If so, what are they?
Take criticism as help. You don't have to agree with all of it, but at least take it in and ask yourself,
As Studio Guest anything that comes to your mind and you want to convey to the readers ?
I want to convey the love of Christ to people. The hope found in scripture. The freedom found in believing the Word of God over our experiences or our feelings.
