Arab & Israeli Women in Entertainment Unite for “Stand Up 4 Her : Inspiration 2020”
An evening celebrating the stories of Middle Eastern and North African women.Women Creating Change (WCC)’s 2nd annual benefit, Stand Up 4 Her: Inspiration 2020 launches Saturday Dec. 19th, 8pm in Israel / 1pm EST / 8pm PST.
In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, the event will be held online this year.Hosted by comedians Mona Shaikh and Batia Parnass, with a special performance by NINET TAYEB (When Heroes Fly, Our Song), the evening will feature a slew of performances by renowned female comedians, poets, storytellers, artists, performers, and musicians who identify
as Egyptian, Iranian, Israeli, Lebanese, Moroccan, Palestinian, Pakistani, Syrian or Turkish,and will bridge cultural divides by celebrating diversity - all from the comfort of your couch!
WCC has also launched a fundraising campaign to expand the organization's outreach and enable them to create even more programs to benefit female filmmakers and artists from the Middle East and North Africa, giving a voice to women who come from societies in which their voices are often forbidden.

The inspiring, star-studded evening will feature astonishing works and performances by Atheer Yacoub, Batia Parnass, Dania Boustany, Inbal-Rotem Sagiv, Lee Broda, Maya Simchi, Meital Venus, Mona Shaikh, Natalie Marciano, Shelly Skandrani, Natasha Kermani, Noam Shuster,Sanam Erfani, Sarah Fatami, Shir Cohen, Yasmine Asha and Zein Khleif.
